In an innings that could be watched throughout the rest of the season, Ashutosh showed his nerves of steel and delivered a sensational, unbeaten knock of 18 runs from 5 deliveries. His outstanding innings tore apart the RR’s death bowlers and won the match for Delhi at 197/5 in 19.4 overs.
Although Ashutosh contributed in a big way to win the match, Mitchell Starc’s superb 4-wicket haul helped him earn the Man of the Match Award. This incredible 5-wicket win puts Delhi Capitals back in contention for the fiercely contested IPL 2026 playoffs, showing that they have enough talent to defeat the other teams in the tournament.
